In this post, I will be showing you 20 reasons why you are always tired and what to do.

Do you always feel tired? Or get tired easily after any slightest work you do? And you feel because you ain’t getting enough sleep, that it is normal.

Well let me burst your bubble. Lack of sleep isn’t the only thing making you feel weak or tired. You might have a disease, or there are some little things you do and don’t do, that can drain you both mentally and physically, which can make getting through your day quite frustrating.

In explaining the reasons why you are always tired, I will dwell on two major categories only. As a result of a particular disease(s) or lack of sleep. So, here are 20 reasons why you are always tired and how to fix them..

If you always feel hungry at night, it won’t hurt to have a light bedtime snack, like some fruits or a bowl of yogurt.

 

  1. You didn’t have enough sleep over the weekend:

Its quite difficult to have a daily 10 hours of sleep unless you are jobless. As a worker, you need to get enough sleep during the weekend to cover up the couple hours of sleep you missed during the weekdays. Trust me, skipping just 30 minutes of sleep from the daily 10 hours recommend, can affect some people negatively.

 

  1. You’re addicted to your phone:

If you’re getting a lot of bright light stimulation into your says in the daytime, it can influence circadian rhythm and your quality of sleep. Your old pillow and mattress has mound of fabric and feathers that stores dust, mites and dead skin cells. This can totally affect your sleeping. You should replace your pillow and mattress every two years.

 

  1. Your sheets are dirty or your room is too dusty:

Washing your sheets and remaking your bed is very annoying, i get it. But you need to do it for your sleep hygiene. You should wash yours at least every two weeks. Eliminating allergens and germs in your room by vacuuming can impact your sleep and help you sleep better.

 

  1. You have Parasomnia:

If you know you’re getting enough sleep and still don’t know why you’re so zonked all the time, then you should see a sleep specialist. You might have Parasomnia, an underlying sleep disorder that makes you do things in your sleep, like walking or talking. This can prevent you from getting the restorative sleep you need.

20: You rely on caffeine to get through the day:

Starting your morning with a cup of coffee is no big deal. Studies show that up to three daily cups of coffee is healthy for you. But using caffeine improperly by overdosing can totally disrupt your sleep-wake cycle.
